Architectural Photography in Fresno, Clovis & the Central Valley

Trusted by architecture firms, engineers & general contractors across the Central Valley

Luke Mitchell Photography — I work alongside architects, engineering firms, and general contractors across the Central Valley to document completed projects the way they were designed to be seen, with the light, materials, and details in focus. If a building was designed with intention, it deserves to be photographed with the same care.

Case Studies

The story behind two recent projects

Sage Allied Health Building — Porterville College

Client: Teter Architects + Engineers

Teter Architects + Engineers designed the new Sage Allied Health Building at Porterville College, a 21,000+ square-foot healthcare training facility built to reflect the campus's commitment to student engagement and to prepare future medical professionals for the workforce. For this project, I provided full interior and exterior photography, dusk/twilight photography, drone photography, and drone video — including candid documentation of students working hands-on with instructors in the training spaces. The goal was to capture both the architecture and the purpose behind it: a facility designed specifically to train the region's next generation of healthcare workers.

The Row at Heritage Grove — Fresno, CA

Client: KTGY Architecture + Planning

KTGY designed the retail plaza at The Row at Heritage Grove, a mixed-use development at Willow and Shepherd Avenues in northeast Fresno, blending corrugated steel and reclaimed wood into a warm, contemporary retail environment set within a larger residential community. I was brought in to shoot exterior, twilight, and drone photography capturing the finished retail center — the architectural details, the site planning, and how the development reads within its surrounding neighborhood.

Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does architectural photography cost in Fresno or the Central Valley?
Pricing depends on project size, number of locations, and whether drone, twilight, or video coverage is included. Reach out with your project details for a quote specific to your building and timeline.
Do you photograph architecture projects outside of Fresno and Clovis?
Yes. While Fresno and Clovis are my home base, I photograph architectural projects throughout the Central Valley, including Visalia, Madera, Porterville, Selma, and surrounding communities.
What's included in a twilight photography session?
Twilight sessions capture a building at dusk, when interior and exterior lighting balance against the sky for a dramatic, polished look — commonly used for award submissions and marketing hero images.
Can you provide drone (aerial) photography and video for a completed project?
Yes. Aerial photography and drone video are available as part of any architectural photography package, useful for showing site context, roofline design, and how a project fits within its surroundings.
Do you work directly with architecture firms, or only with building owners?
Both. I regularly work directly with architecture and engineering firms who need imagery for their own portfolios and award submissions, as well as with owners and developers who need documentation of the completed project.
